Ireland Bound!

The Nelson Doyle Dancers will be traveling to Ireland in August 2012. They have been invited by Miramichi's twin city, the County of Monaghan, to perform at the Official Opening Ceremony of the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2012.


This trip will prove to be the highlight of the summer for the girls as they experience the thrill of performing in Ireland, representing Miramichi. They will also be experiencing the rich culture of the country that is home to many of our group's ancestors.

The Nelson Doyle Dancers are busy fundraising for the trip.

Win a Trip for Two to Ireland

The Nelson Doyle Dancers are selling tickets on a trip for two to Ireland (or $3000 in cash). Tickets are available from any of the dancers or at Bill's Quik Way in Chatham or Books Inn in Newcastle. Draw to be held on July 22, 2012 at the Irish Festival

Kin Centre performance with Heritage Players Theatre Group

Decemeber, 2011: The Nelson Doyle Dancers teamed with the Miramichi Heritage Players Theatre Group to present a Christmas themed dinner theatre. The Heritage Players performed an orginal script and the NDD danced for a sold out crowd. The money raised that night is going towards the Nelson Doyle Dancers' trip to Ireland where they will be performing in August 2012.

June, 2011: The Nelson Doyle Dancers perform at Waterford on the Green for the MacRally for Hope in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

September 2011: The Nelson Doyle Dancers performed at Miramichi Valley High School to the Rick Hansen "Man in Motion" theme song. They helped honour the 25th Anniversary Relay Team as it travelled through Miramichi to celebrate Barry Amos and 6 MVHS students for being "Difference Makers" in their community.
